The Future of a Promise

THE FUTURE OF A PROMISE, 2012 – 200/150cm
Black and white serigraphy on cotton textile, 10 units.
In “The Future of a Promise”, drawings and characters converge. It is a cloth made to dry your hands in a bathroom, on which there is printed a selection of articles of the Declaration of Human Rights that seem particularly despised in the current times. The articles are accompanied by drawings reinforcing the immediacy of the message when cleaning your hands.
The work is presented on the wall of a bathroom, with a metal bar that allows reading and usage.
